Get a free stock in a random company!

The new Robinhood App just passed 1,000,000 people on the waiting list to buy #cryptocurrency!

Try it here https://share.robinhood.com/christs5322 and get a free stock in a random company!
I ended up getting a free Sprint stock for joining, and so far gotten a free "Chesapeake Energy" worth $4 each (twice!) for referring a friend twice.

This week's Bitcoin crypto-dividend: Bitcoin Atom (BCA)

Bitcoin Atom fork occurs in just a few hours!

Block#505,888
Ratio: BTC/BCA Unknown
Hybrid PoW/PoS Algorithm
SegWit: Unknown
On-chain Atomic Swaps
Block Size: Unkown
Replay Protection: Yes
Lightning Network: Yes
notable: hash time-locked contracts

Countdown timer I made to approximate when the fork happens

If anyone has any more info on this please comment below! I will put it in!

What do you guys think? Me, I will just collect mine and wait for it to pump, and then at that time sell it for BTC most likely. If it ends up with a working product that does something nothing else does later, I would reconsider keeping some.

I will at least try the wallet and play with small amounts in the meantime.

Bitcoin picks up where it left off, testing $17K again

Bitcoin's awake from it's annual HODLiday Vacation.
Testing $17,000 barrier again. Up 20% on the week (about $3,000 USD). Actually I have had to rewrite this several times, back to not being able to write articles mentioning Bitcoin that are up-to-date. :)
Top alt-coins reKt again.. except for Steller Lumens(XLM), Monero(XMR) and Raiblocks(XRB)

I would say except for Bitcoin Cash, except just one thing: it has taken a beating all year thus far versus BTC.

On a side note, today I got my first bit of Bitcoin Cash! Some dude was offering a bounty for solving a puzzle about marijuana, and he used @TipprBot to send me some BCH via TipprBot on Twitter. xD Shout out to @bsmith12251960 (Mr. Scatman) on Twitter. I will HODL it until someone else deserves a tip as well :)

Remember everyone! Leave a comment below, tweet me something on Twitter, msg me on Facebook, whatever! You have questions? If I don't have the answer, I will do my best to get it for you!

Top 100 Cryptocurrencies described in 4 words or less. (credit to @eigenjoy on Twitter)
This would make a decent poster. For about a week xD.
Great if  you just want a quick & dirty explanation of most of the top cryptocurrencies.

Bitcoin SpammerGate?

#Bitcoin #SpammerGate?
Is it spam? or is it devs testing? Lightning Network testing? New wallets created by a 3rd party service?(think gambling, faucets, referral stuff, wallets, signup bonuses, etc), or is it NYE fireworks on the blockchain(lol)?

*1st 4+ minutes is me scrolling through thousands of 0.00001 BTC (13 cents ) outputs in groups of about 100(?) and me pointing out the addresses/transaction IDs/etc
Its a lot to sit through, but I figured I'd be more thorough so that it would be really hard to say I faked it or whatever. Check all the stuff it is all legit.

@ 3:10 - bottom of tree ends in currently unconfirmed transaction with 100(?) output.
@ 7:15 watch a totally different spam Transaction propagate while I am recording live
@ 8:00 another one
@ 10:45 another one propagates and has ties directly to a previous 100+ output Tx
@ 12:30 a 3rd joins the party directly tied to the previous 2
@ 15:00 2 more tied to a 1300BTC balance
@ 16:30 another one pops up tied to the earlier trifecta (3)
and on and on and on....forever into the past, and forever into the future apparently lol

blockchain visualizer:

tweet to share pics instead of vid:

sorry for the lag on the video at times. this computer doesnt even have a GPU and had trouble doing the video/audio and the blockchain visualizer along with huge transaction trees simultaneously

@7:00-10:00 it really starts getting interesting when you can watch the outputs propagate on the blockchain visualizer. i highly recommend watching the whole thing thru, even though @5:00 and after it lags pretty bad

Sold all my GPUs back in October lol xD

I need to find someone/something that can visualize the whole tree to see where the Tx originates & how big it is

My tweet about it:

TREE FOR TRANSACTION
100+(?) transactions for 0.00001 BTC(13.8 cents at this time)

See it on the blockchain here:

GO DOWN TO THE LAST ONE WHICH IS AN OUTPUT OF JUST UNDER 1 BTC (WHERE THE CHANGE WENT)

CLICK ON THE YELLOW CIRCLE AT THE BOTTOM TO SEE WHERE THE CHANGE GOES

It makes another tree of 100+(?) transactions for 0.00001 BTC (13.5 cents)

and on and on until you get to the end, where there is a currently unconfirmed 100(?) output transaction (blue circle)

In the blockchain visualizer, you can watch the little suckers propagate live

and eventually they reveal that they are linked in a long chain

I also noticed one of these other big two are associated with a 1300 BTC address

They're drawing triangles? Prisms? lol
